111. National Cheerleading Championship 2009, the 10th anniversary.

My eyes were the result of getting only 8 to 9 hours of sleep in 2 days..

Finally National Cheerleading Championship 2009 is over now... After all the hard work and commitment, sweat, money, time, tears and blood, it is OVER. I'm not satisfy with our performance coz' we can always do it better during practices...Come to think of it, it is okay, at least I've got a break through in my high school life, Shannen's in a cheer squard! LOl

This cheer competition let me experienced a lot of things...ofcoz it's not about Winning. Lets flash back.

I joined CYCLONEZ since last year's November... I joined because I'm interested with all these moves and I wanted to try out new things in my high school life BEFORE IT IS TOO LAtE.
When I just started with Meghan, It was fun and sort of easy for us... i mean the basic stuff, coz' we were basketball players... got some stamina with us. Ooohh, I'm Not being proud.

After some time, the more stunts and tumbling I do, the more I wanted to challenge myself for higher difficulty level. There... I was passionate with cheerleading. I love the teamwork of building a stunt...I love the feeling of tumble. Well, gymnast was my childhood's dream...I did not tell many people about this...coz my parents think that it's unnecessary.

Practiced for almost 8 months, in this period of time,i've see lots of different side of people, humanity, both good and bad.
Cheer 2009 was here.

Everything happened so fast. The day before the 1st day of competition was dramatic. We were full of spirit and then lost our confidence in a moment, then we cried and frustrated, after that everything went so well...problem settled, we were so happy and excited. Once the captain lost confidence, the rest of the team sorrow.

During the 1st day of competition lagi scared us... 1 of the main flyer sprained her ankle during short practice in the morning before we depart from school.

We change the routine...in like..few hours before the competition. However, Thank God for a talented teammate in our squard, Yi er. She replace the missing position, she did extension liberty and combine stunts etc during that morning. After the performance, she slept soundly, like a baby.. aww* hearts*
And shockingly, we all knew that it was her very first time... still she was stable and able to catch up fast.she was probably stressed like hell... BRAVO Yi Er.

Peformance wasn't as we planned... Whole team under pressure. Time was ticking away fast, we've done our performance in a blink of an eye. And then, was blurred ''What we did just now actually? Did we fail? Or missed it? Or did it perfectly?'' Urgh... How I wish we can stick with the original routine, nicer.. and more familiar with it...but we got a illegal stunt *the special one*, have to eliminate it. Moreover, we have to speeed up everything...

2nd day, No no no no, don't phunk with my heart~ toss* weird...why haven't fly up?..looked up *blue and silver skirt in the air...crowd*(Wooooeee!!!) A guy from Charm...Eyes blinded by spotlight...
There, found myself on the ground, confused. Keep smiling keep smiling, Pick myself up and continue... Tears and frust flusing out of my eyes after the performance, things pop out inside of my mind... It should be a very happy and proud ending, it should be Happy...all becoz of...haihs..dunwanna mention here.

I enjoyed watching the other teams perform, i learned a lot from them. The judges were awesome athletes, feel like wanna be like em':P Santwon and Tye rocks the floor! I remember Santwon did a tumble with his head, shockingly amazing!!

I really love the time we're together. Argh~ I got tons to say... but I can't pour them out like milk in words. No regret in joining Cheer. :) Still not happy with the performances though...lesson learned, do not make so much changes with a routine last minute.
Here's my thankQ speech. heeh~
